New Years Eve

Today, daddy, mommy and I will be going back to kampung to celebrate the new years eve ^^

My fever has gone down so I can declare myself healthy again (hohoho...). That means I can abduct some carbonated drinks and maybe a bit of junk food again *evil laugh*

Oh yeah, today is also my last blog for 2008 :)

Sickness

Mommy and me are currently down with a fever with include runny nose (flu) and sore throat. Daddy brought me to a pharmacy in Tabuan Jaya and bought some flu and sore throat pills.

I've gathered some theories of why me and mommy are sick *evil laugh*

i. eating too some fried/barbecue pork.
ii. both of us were bathing in the cold water too frequently at kampung.
iii. eating too much junk food at kampung.
iv. not used to the sudden changing of hot and cold weather.
v. saja-saja mok sakit sebab lamak sik sakit...

Of all the reasons, I just can't accept the last one though Mommy suggest it was the most logical among the others XD

My cousin and her family just came back from Jakarta 2 days before Christmas and bought my sis and I a lovely souvenir ^^

Departure and Christmas

Sis went back to Kuala Lumpur today. Now, the family can be simplified with these numbers; 4 - 1 = 3. Hmm...that means no companion to watch A Haunting anymore, nobody to talk to at night, nobody to talk about the latest fashion anymore, no one to drive me go to Stutong anymore. Its pretty saddening T_T In about a week the school will be re-open again and this time I'll be a senior (for some reason I feel old...). History will repeats itself; Form 5 nightmare will reliving itself. Hence, gotta study hard!!! XD

Alright, thats that. Christmas at kampung was fun but a bit lonely this year. There were less people came visiting this year and me and my cousins did most of the job of finishing the tasty treats. I have to admit thought that this year's cakes doesn't taste really good compared to the other years.

Bank

Today, daddy, sis and me went to the bank. Not one but a lot of banks...After that, we went to the Insurance Company and to another bank (again...). 

I had the worst chicken rice in my life (well, probably one of the worst; they gave me and daddy each 5 pieces of thinly sliced chicken meat with a mountain plate of rice) and had heartburn after taking it.  

After lunch, back to the bank. Sis make a mistake when taking her number hence have to repeat everything again. It was a long wait but the good thing was that the chair was comfy therefore a thumb's up for this particular bank ^^

Enough with the banks...we went to MJC after that. Sent sis to take her lunch, went strolling for clothes a bit and went to a pharmacy. I had this rashes on my stomach for a while now so daddy brought me to buy some medicines. The pharmacist told me there might be something growing on my stomach and prescribed me with some allergy pills and an antibiotic cream. She said this pills will cleanse my blood and get rid of unwanted bacteria (?!).

Anyway, we reached home and I showed mommy my medicines. She asked me, "Darah kau kotor kah?" XD

On Thursday, my family and I had home made popiah for dinner :)

Today, we went to Sunday Market. It was raining cats and dogs there. Daddy thought about buying some cha kueh but unfortunately, their stall haven't open yet. We don't buy much things and since its raining quite heavily, we just went for some sightseeing instead. Only sis did. She bought 2 sandals and a few t-shirts as a souvenir for her friends back Kuala Lumpur After that, we went to Boulevard to shop. I bought my school shirt and socks there. I didn't know my family will be doing some heavy shopping so I didn't manage to buy my stuff. Instead I went browsing through the shops in Boulevard after I pay my school's things.

Back at home, mommy prepare the broth for our kiaw. Meanwhile me and sis make the kiaw(s) and daddy prepare his rojak sotong.

I went shopping with my sister and mommy today. I thought I wasn't going to buy anything but I did...lol. I bought myself two cute shorts and I love it ♥

Lunch

Mommy, sis and me went to my auntie's house for lunch today.

We had fried chicken wings, steamed fish, fried tempoyak and chicken curry. Since I'm a bit picky with my food, I find the dishes tasted a bit weird for my pallette. My aunt put lemon grass in the steamed fish (mommy never do that so its a new taste for me). I don't like any form of curry so basically I dont touch that dish too so I'm left with the tempoyak and fried chicken. 

After we reached home, mommy complaint saying the food tasted bland (mommy loves her food spicy...) ^^

Disappointment

I was looking forward of buying a new hoodie for myself since there's a sale now but to my disappointment, there was no discount for that hoodie and its price was sky-high. It was totally over my budget T_T How I wish I could buy that hoodie but oh well, the price was too much...

Anyway, during the trip, daddy bought more stuff than me and it pissed me off...hahaha XD

Overall, it was a pleasant trip to The Spring ^^

Period

I could say that this month is one of my worst period months. I got cramps on both thighs, a very painful smomache, and worst of all - I vomited my dinner and went to bed hungry :'(

Even though yesterday was bad, I still enjoyed myself ^^ I mean, my family and I went to Boulevard to go shopping and the best part was there's a sale!!! Makeups, clothes, accessories...you named it, they got discount for everything, well almost everything :D After that, we went to Tabuan Jaya for a short walk ^^

Today, there's nothing much going on. Daddy goes back to work and the rest of us spend the whole day at home.

Arrival

Daddy came back from Bintulu around 11.30 p.m. and he brought 2 packets of Kueh Tiaw Sos. I slept in happiness yesterday XD

My sister came back from Kuala Lumpur this afternoon :D Me, daddy and mommy waited for quite a while for her in the airport since her flight got delayed by an hour plus. After she arrived, we all went home to have our lunch and after that, we went to Jabatan something something (I forgot its name) to collect (sister and daddy) and remake (me and mommy) our mykad. Both mommy and I had to pay RM10.00 as a fine since our card's cip got damaged (not our fault). We waited for about 2 hours to wait for our numbers to be called. Its very slow but the officer who assisted me during the process was very kind ^^ Mommy in the other hand got a grumpy officer who treated her badly :( 

Anyway, after everything's done, all of us went to the Stutong Community Market to buy some crabs and chillies (daddy gonna cook it for sis' welcoming home party) :D

For some reason, I feel our family is complete once again. The car is full, the kitchen table is full and the house is livelier. Its like the missing piece of a puzzle is found again. Its such a pleasant feeling ^^

Lunch

I really enjoyed today because my aunts and cousins came to visit us and had lunch together. Its been a while since I've eaten with people other than my parents. The food was splendid and everyone had a good time :)

I can't wait for tomorrow. Its the day my sister comes back from Kuala Lumpur. We haven't seen each other for 5 long months and I'm totally esthatic about tomorrow.

Daddy called just now & asked me to fetch him from the airport. I did'nt dare because I'm still not really confident with my driving yet. I always had this fear of what happen if I accidentally knocked someone's car or even worse - a human. Its just creeps me out. I think I might need a little bit of practise before I can bring a passenger with me. 

Daddy haven't come back yet since his flight from Bintulu was delayed. Hope he's alright. 

*Gasp*

Today, my parents and I went grocery shopping at the local market. As we walked through the crowd, me and daddy passed this chinese girl and her family. After we passed them, daddy said to me, 

Daddy : Jake, that girl jeling you.

Jodie : She's jealous coz' she's fat.

Ita a stupid conversation but hey, she started it. Why did she jeling me first? XD Anyway, I did look very shabby this morning. I mean, I look like a hag with very messy hair and a "I just woke up" face :D

Another thing that make me gasp this morning - nobody sell cakoi on weekdays (no...!!!). Daddy and I ended up buying popiah, yam kuih and green bean paste buns.

In the evening dad went to Bintulu leaving mommy and me for 3 days and 2 nights. 

Boredom

I'm so bored. Everyday is a routine. *sigh*

Connection Problem :(

The internet has been acting pretty strange since this morning :'( I was on my usual routine of going online but I couldn't get through the connection *crying* I was worried that maybe daddy cut off the the line... I told mommy and she called daddy. Daddy said he don't know anything about it and hung up. A few hours later he called again & asked if the problem still persist. I told him "yeah" and we hung up again. I think he called the Internet guys and get the connection fixed ^^ When he reached home, he told us there's been a minor problem in the electrical company thus creating the connection failure.

Anyway, the problem is fixed and my life goes back to normal :D

Saturday's Schedule

I woke up this morning and had cakoi and milo with milk for breakfast. Then, I watched tv for an hour or two. After that, I went online for several hours.

In the afternoon, I'll eat lunch with my parents. My dad will be going to a badminton court to play badminton with his friends. Meanwhile, my mom and I pack up our bags and get ready because in the evening we'll be going to my grandparents' house somewhere in Padawan. My dad comes back and after a quick shower, all of us will "balik kampung" together.

At kampung, we'll be having barbeque. So, thats it :)

I'm currently addicted to these mangas (Japanese comics) from a particular mangaka (a person who drew manga) ^^

I love the stories portray in her mangas. Its very realistic and kinda sucks you in whenever you read them. Every characters are unique in their own way and after a while reading, it feels like you've bonded with them thus loving them even more ♥

Twitching

I'm strange...

Hmm...last night, my brain did something weird... :O

The left side of my brain twitch by itself!!! :O At first I thought it was nothing but after a few hours its kinda felt annoying and a bit painful too. So, I went online to search for a solution and guess what?! Its actually a symptom of having a migraine (no...!!!)

Does that mean I'm sick? Come to think of it, I'm not stressing over something or anything though. Lets see...maybe its too much meat and less veggie? Probably. No exercise? Maybe. Overslept this past few days? Yes. Too much internet?! DEFINITELY!!!

Hmm...I think maybe I should do something about it...we'll see :)

By the way, I finished doing those essays^^ Its pretty difficult but I think its a good experience for me since I'm studying those things at school too :)

As the title said...its HOLIDAY :D

Hmm...I'm really happy at the moment but that happiness did not last very long though. My parents have been scolding me and asking me to study. They said I've been neglecting my studies whatsoever & if I continue slacking off, I might fail my STPM next year :/

Hey, this is suppose to be the month of relaxation people!!! Leave Jodie alone!!! Waaaa... *giggle*

Come on, there will be a time when I'll be really serious about my studies but unfortunately, its not this month :D

Even though its the relaxation period, I haven't had any proper time for myseld yet. I've been trying to make ends meet by finishing 5 essays simultaneously. I did finished one last night so there's still 4 more to go. These essays are so not mine basically. Its actually from a friend and I've been doing him a favor.

Hopefully, I can finish everything up by tomorrow.

Memories...

I can't imagine how fast the time flies. Its just amazing & scary in a way since STPM is getting nearer and nearer...

I can smile happily today basically because two very good things; first, my exam just finished and the most exciting reason of all is THE HOLIDAY IS STARTING!!! Yeah!!! :D

Hmm...I just finished enduring the torturing 5 months of Lower Six. I dunno how to explain it. It DOES lives up to its reputation of being the hardest road of tertiary education. But I have to admit, behind those difficulties, there are some sweetness in going for Form 6 ^^ I mean, I met a lot of new friends and teachers, get to wear the Form 6 trademark skirt *laugh* and having fun in library reading new books. In the afternoon of the same day, me and some of my classmates went for a school trip to Dewan Undangan Negeri to listen to the debate. We went there at 2.30 p.m. if I not mistaken. As soon as we arrived, we went inside using the back entrance (the main entrance was reserved for VIP only). Before heading to the main hall for the debate, the DUN's staffs led us on a tour to the ballroom and the VIP lounge. After the tour, they led us to the main hall. Before letting us in, they told us to off/silence our handphones and left our cameras & bags outside. This is because it is strongly prohibited to take any pictures when the speakers are debating. Ack?!

I make the report today & guess what? The disciplinary teachers actually knew that boy! They said he was always harassing the girls at school. Its kinda like his hobby...SCARY!!! The teachers called him "Angkasawan" which is weird. I can't believe a crazy sex maniac pervert is actually attending the same school with me and its creepy (I thought it could only happened in the movie).

The prefects were called to "capture" the pervert but he was absent. Arrgggghhhhhh!

Anyway, since its almost the end of the school semester, everyone is in holiday mode and that includes me. I didn't do the exercises & essay the teacher asked me to because I don't feel like doing it anymore. I'm becoming lazy I guess. Oh well, it feels like I'm in Form 4 again and next year I gonna struggle very hard (again) for the STPM (like I did a year back for SPM). Its terrifying & yet nostalgic in some sense.

Harassment

Arghh!!! I hate that kid. He's totally a jerk. F***king stupid, gross, ugly, argghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!
Okay, the truth is, I was just been sexually harassed this morning at school. I dunno how it happened or why was I been targeted but I do know one thing, I HATE IT. I TOTALLY HATE WHAT THAT BOY DID. It was wrong, very, totally, super duper wrong.

Well, I don't think I have any right to determine how he dies or whatever but I do hope that the teachers will do something so that harassment won't happen in the future.

I don't know why the dress code should be blamed for it. I read a lot news saying the government should change it to something more "decent". Hey come on! I was wearing BAJU KURUNG. I DIDN'T wear super skimpy or tight skirt but still, I was sexually harassed. So, there's no such thing as dress code being the main cause of the problem.

Maybe the boy who harassed me was starving for attention. I mean, from my viewpoint, he was short, ugly, dirty looking and just gross. Who would want to date a person like that? Its just eww with a capital E.

Arghh...I'm so pissed right now. I think I should make a report to the disciplinary teacher about this matter tomorrow.

Red Eye

My right eye was so itchy last night that I have to scratch it. When I wake up in this morning, I found it in a very bad shape. It look so red and watery. My mom says I will go blind if I continue to scratch it and my eye really freaks her out.

Post-shopping Thoughts

I went shopping with my parents awhile ago. We went to Lee Cooper boutique and dad went nuts when he saw this limited edition The Beatles t-shirt. I thought the shirt was cool but its too pricey. I mean who would buy a shirt that cost RM130? He didn't buy it in the end...poor dad, he really loves that t-shirt.

After that, we went to my favourite place; the makeup section ♥. I've been searching for a good concealer for ages and still couldn't find the right one because I one I wanna buy is not available and its kinda frustrating. I did spot ZA concealer but find it rather unreasonable to buy since it came in a very tiny tube with a pricey tag. I also set my eyes on Kate Kanebo and Revlon cosmetics but couldn't find the concealer in their counters. So I guess the search will continue...

So Sad And Yet So Happy :)

I can't believe I will be ending my lower six in two weeks. Its hard to imagine how fast the time flies and next thing I know is I will be sitting for STPM next year...scary.

I was recently felt very intrigued to know about a person named Chris Crocker. So, I went browsing through the internet to find out more about him. As it was turn out, he was famous for his video entitled "Leave Britney Alone". I watched the video and I find it um, how should I say it...well, I dunno what to say. Anyway, I totally love his "Hairflip" video. It totally made my day :) I love the part where he said, "happiness is just a hairflip away".

My life have been very hectic lately. It seems like I can't have any afternoon rest (like I usually do) because of some stupid play. I have to sacrifice my quiet and peaceful afternoon rest to go to the rehearsal. My role is to play a "bitchy" little primary school girl attitude which I totally dislike. My dialogue was so lousy (T_T) that I rebel by slowing my pace and ignoring the so called "director" when he call me. It took us about 3 minutes to settle the issue after a friend agreed to take my role. Hmph!

I'm sick...

I head feels weird...I feel weak and tired...hmm, *thinking* its a fever (no doubt about it)

Ouch!!!

I got a very bad infection on my left ear where my second piercing lies and it hurts :'(

Its all the towel's fault! It happened when I was drying myself after bathing and suddenly the thread from the towel got entangled with my piercing. My piercing got pulled and I think the force might ruptured the skin...my ear is currently swollen and filled with pus.

Its been a while since I wrote anything...wuahhh...feels so lazy lately.
Anyway, about the shopping, I said I would be a good spender but...I didn't XD I overdid it!!! Lol...
I went splurging all the way and I was happy about it (even though I was left with just RM1 in my purse). I bought 2 lipsticks and a foundation. All of it was from Silky Girl :)

Yesterday was the first day of raya. My friend called and asked me if I would like to follow them go visiting. Of course I wanna go but dad won't let me (...and I even bought a new t-shirt for raya) :(

The weather is killing me...arghhh...I feel like a dry fish.

Mommy made me some "kacang hijau" drink. Its pretty refreshing but I'm still hot :/

Slowpoke

Ever since the exam finished, I feel very drained. Its like something is sucking out my energy & I feel really weak & dreamy lately...I don't feel as enthusiast as I was before the exam. Maybe its before I ate a lot of protein & less vegetables & fruits? Hmm...another mystery but I have to admit, meat is good XD

Random Talks

I went to Watson last week to buy myself a moisturizer but couldn't find the one I preferred. They only displayed limited choices so I decided not to buy anything. The next day, I went shopping with my mom. My mom introduced me to this shop where they sell makeups & skincare product. I bought a toner & suddenly something caught my eyes. I saw some Maybelline product over in the glass counter & asked the sales girl to fetch me an eyeliner. The eyeliner looks cool & I said I'd like to buy it but before that I would like to browse the shop a little more. I found Silky Girl makeup line & guess what? Its really cheap here compared to other places but I'm on a really tight budget right now so I guess I'll pass. I bought the toner & eyeliner & when I reached home, I just noticed that the eyeliner was a Maybelline fraud :( My mom told me to return it but sadly I had opened the seal therefore I can't return it. I was thinking of throwing it away but changed my mind. Hmm...So, the moral of the story, look carefully at the stuff before decide you buy them.

Anyway, I just received the memory card from my friend that contain our photos during the Independence Day :)

Hohoho...

Finally exam is finished!!! YEAH!!! I'm so happy :)

Tomorrow I'll be going out with my friends :D Thinking of buying a moisturizer but I dunno which brand to buy...hopefully I found an affordable one since I'm on a tight budget :/

Examination...

Im stressing out right now because...tomorrow will be my first exam in Form 6 *Aaaaaaaaa...* Will I pass...or will I fail? Umm...*running around like crazy*

The Starting Point

Exam is around the corner *scream* I'm totally not ready. Help Me! Anyway, I was reading my General Studies book and suddenly, I feel like starting up a blog (weird huh?). I've been thinking of writing a blog for the past 1-2 years but never done anything about it. So, today, I really gonna make the blog thingy happen & tadaa...I finally make it :D

Ever since my elder sister got her driving license, I've been nagging my parents to let me learn how to drive too & on the 5th or 6th of July (if I'm not mistaken), my wish was finally came true. I learn driving for about 2 months & last Saturday...I got my, yes, my very own driving license!!! *doing a weird dance* But sadly, my parents have no confident of letting me drive a car yet so, the driving license will just have to be a decoration for a while...

I went to my school Independence Day last Saturday & it was okay, I guess. I had to walk on foot on my way back *cry* because my dad didn't fetch me. He thought I'll call but I didn't because I told him earlier in the morning. Whose fault was it? Nobody knows...

Yesterday I went shopping with my parents. The first place I went was the makeup section. They're having a sale now so I thought I buy some more makeups for my growing makeup collection :D I bought a foundation & a concealer. Both are from Silky Girl & their prices are pretty reasonable too. My favourite brand next to Maybelline. Hopefully the sale will continue until next month because I'm planning to buy an eyeliner or an eye shadow :)

Conclusion, August was truly a roller coaster month for me. A lot of good and bad things happened...Hopefully this month will be better.
