Cold

Today was freezing... :S Its been raining for the whole day. It reminded me of January :D

A bug find its way into my uniform during first period and stung me 4 times. Stupid bug... DX

Tomorrow is a school day. How boringly routine my life is *sigh* but its only about 3 months left. Someday, I will miss this feeling :)

Bloodshot Eye

Its been almost a week :( It look worser day by day. I think its because my fringe have gotten longer.

Yesterday I was so tired I ended up sleeping around 8 p.m.

Today my school celebrated Coperation Day. Its was a bit boring (too few stalls) but nevertheless, everyone tried to make it fun. My club organised a Cooking Competition :) and I'm one of supervisor in charge. There were a lot of dishes prepared by the participants and I basically make those my lunch. Free food always taste best XP

Depressed

During General Study period, my classmates and I submitted our essays to Mr.H. After discussing some schoolwork, he went on to read our essays one by one out loud. He began pointing out our mistakes sarcasticly. I got the worst hit since he read out almost everything I've written T_T The other two were lucky because he only read their introduction.

I smell conspiracy. He was aiming me all along :<

It was raining yesterday therefore the Petanque Competition was postponed again :/

I was so sleepy after using 60% of my brain to fiqure out a schoolwork from General Study. I slept at 8 p.m. :D

Since the General Study teacher was exchanged, the not-so-new teacher who took his place is really strict, well...a bit too strict T_T Today he came in and began "semi-scolding" everyone saying we're weak and needed to be taught stricter than before. Before going out, he chose 3 unlucky beings to write an essay that must be submitted tomorrow. I was one of the 3 unlucky ones... D:

I even skipped the Petanque Competition so that I can concentrate on writing it. There goes the entrance fee...

Petanque

In the afternoon after school, the school held Petanque Competition. My classmates and I represent our club in the competition. We are in Group 7 :)

Unfortunately, some club representatives didn't show up so our game will be postpone to tomorrow afternoon.

Oh yeah, I have no idea on how to play that game. I was particially forced to join XD

Serikin

Today, my family and I went to Serikin. Sis and me never been there so this gonna be our first.

It was a long trip. It felt like were were going back to Sarikei. Mountains and trees decorate most of the view. There were houses as well. Since I never use Bau road, I discovered a lot of kampung(s) that I never heard before. The kampung(s) reminded me of my own kampung 10 years ago. I mean, the surroundings were very cool and you can see clouds on top of the mountain. My kampung on the other hand, feels like the city nowadays. Even the stream almost dries up.

Anyway, I also saw SMK Lake along the way. The school was very secluded (its surrounded by forest). It must be very cold at night ^^ I also find their students' dormitories unique. Its very different from the dorms you find in the city.

Serikin is located between Sarawak and Kalimantan border but Serikin belongs to Sarawak's territory. Hence, the nearer we drove, the more frequent police and customs were in sight. An hour later, we reached the destinated place. There were so many people! :O Fortunately, the weather was perfect. Its not too hot :D

The things being sold were cheap (...not really) but you can bargain. This is the time where you learned and sharpen your bargaining skills. I managed to get a good deal for Mommy's food steamer :)

I love the fabrics they sold at Serikin. Its pretty but unfortunately I didn't bought any since I can't get a good bargain for it :/ I'll try again on my next visit.

In the end, we bought some stuff. Daddy bought dried squids and a pair of sandal. Mommy bought a handbag and a food steamer while Sis bought a pair of sandal. Me, I bought a pashmina and a pair of sandal too. On our way back, Mommy and I bought spicy tapioca chips :)

I went to Tabuan Jaya to reload my phone and guess what? The money didn't went into my phone. Stupid dealer. I should went to a Chinese dealer instead of going to whatever...*sigh*

School

Today is a Saturday. Its suppose to be a holiday but I have to go to school D: Its no fun...

Yesterday, I received my Section D & E of General Study, Paper 2 result. I didn't do well in Section D. There were some careless mistakes and because of that, I lose some marks :/

Hmm...

Like yesterday, today there were a lot of absenties too *sigh*

My History teacher didn't give me my exam paper yet since he haven't finish marking them :/

Today is also the day I received my General Study Paper 1 result. I got the highest marks together along side a classmate but our score were just average if compared to the other classes. Hence, I really need to work hard on those calculations >:(

Results Update

I don't like my Malay Language marks :( Its too "average". I know I can do better. Next time, I'll study harder for it >:)

Meanwhile, General Study's result was good. I passed Paper 1 :D I seriously thought I gonna fail that paper because I did very bad in the calculation part :/ In Paper 2, everything looked okay. Hopefully Section D and E will be the same next week :)

Exam Result

I received some of my exam papers today^^

My Business Study teacher gave our class some sarcastic lecturing before giving back our exam results. She told us that only 2 students passed her paper & the rest failed. Everyone was nervous. Luckily, I was one of the students who passed :) & I even got the highest score :D

For History Paper 2, I scored as the second highest...hmm, not bad :/ Hopefully, I scored better for Paper 1 *fingers crossed*

Today was also the first time my classmates see my new hair. During the last period, a classmate approached me and said I looked weird(?!) without my glasses + short hair. He said I looked better with long hair T_T

Preparation

Since tomorrow I'm gonna start schooling again, I spent most of my time tidying & ironing my school uniforms :)

Time sure flies... honestly, two weeks of holiday is not enough XP

Anyway, I did some school necessity shopping yesterday. Daddy bought me my watch ^^

Weekends & Monday

Today

I guess I should finish my schoolworks and notes today XP

Sunday

We went back to Kuching round 9 a.m. On our way back, Mommy suggested to Daddy that we should use the 10th Mile road because she wanna go for our weekly grocery shopping. So, off we go. The place was packed. Parking space was really hard to come by. Daddy had to make a few turns before finally got one. Mommy on the other hand was no where to be found. Daddy asked everyone to go out and we went to search for her. We did found her at the end of the shop rows.

In the evening, Daddy and Sis went to Kingdom Hall. They came back some hours later. Then, everyone took a short nap. In the evening, we had dinner and after that, Sis and I went shopping again. I bought a cute grey pants while Sis bought two pants.

Saturday

Mommy, Sis and me went shopping from morning until around noon. Before that, all of us had our hair cut. I told the lady I want a short layered hair a.k.a Nell Bedworth's hair but it don't turn out like Nell's hair after she finished cutting :S Umm... anyway, I still like it :)

Then, its shopping time ^^ First, we went to Watson's. I wanna buy a hair serum. There was a lot of brands to choose from and I'm spoil for choices XD but in the end I bought Loreal Paris Elsève's hair serum. Love the scent :)

After that, Sis and I went shopping by ourselves while Mommy went somewhere to buy some grocery. We bought the same coloured blouses...lol. Mommy met up with us again in this particular store and went to lunch together. Before heading home, Mommy "tapau" lunch for Daddy.

Upon arriving, Mommy peel some unripe mangoes and make sambal asam. Daddy on the other hand was eating his "tapau" lunch. We rest for a while before Daddy suggested we go shopping to this newly opened supermarket called E-mart. The place was very far but it was worth it :D

Mommy and Sis bought most of the stuff while me and Daddy just bought our food. While waiting for Daddy at the transaction, I went to Cindy to buy a hair clip. I just bought it spontaneously thinking it was adorable but I wonder if I gonna use it? :>

We went home after that. At home, Daddy finally opened this packet freeze dried ice-cream which uncle bought as a gift for him from America. It tasted like ice-cream except it wasn't chilled. Awesome stuff :D On the packet it wrote, 'originally developed for the early Apollo Mission and was used by astronauts eating under weightless conditions in space'.

In the evening, we all went to kampung. The newly wed arrived from Kapit a few minutes after us. My aunt looked really happy. She was all smiling :D

At night, we had a barbecue. I ate 3 pieces of chicken wings and some pork slices. Since I didn't take any rice or noodle, I got heartburn not long after that T_T

It was the best day of my life ♥ The word 'fun' was everywhere. There was never a dull moment. I wish my every weekend will be like this :)

Notes

For the past 2 days I've been really tired after coming back from kampung. I'm trying to start writing my Business Study notes but unnecessary temptations got the better of me. I spent most of my time sleeping, goggling, net-working, reading/dowloading mangas and eating. 

I wonder when will I include revision in my schedule... :/

Its A Boy Girl Thing

On the fist day of Gawai, I watched this movie with my cousins at kampung ^^

I love this movie ♥ and I absolutely adore Nell's hairdo :D 

Back

Im back from my 4 days and 3 nights stay at kampung :)

Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos during Gawai but I did had fun ^^

On the 30th, I had Frog Soup for dinner. Its been years since I ate any frogs. They should skinned it first before they cook it though. I find the frog's skin to be rather disgusting XD. Mommy didn't even bother touching that dish. She said she don't really like the idea of eating frogs. 

On the 31st, I had Laksa for breakfast. Mommy made them. She woke up around 5 a.m. to prepare the ingredients. I don't remembered what I ate for lunch. Maybe there aren't any strange food that they cooked therefore, it don't make any impact on my mind XP At night, we had a barbecue. There's barbecue chicken wings, porks, prawns and fishes. A lot of people came to Grandpa's house and they weren't leaving until Mommy told them to do so around 3 a.m. Most of them were drunk. The whole night I was partially awake and asleep because the noise of people talking were so loud. 

On Gawai...well, this year I noticed there's no biscuits. Only layered cakes, sweets, peanuts, preserved fruits and flavoured achovies were available. Its a bit quiet this year because Sis and my aunt couldn't make it. Sis had to attend her part time job while my aunt (just married recently) brought Grandma and Grandpa together with her to Kapit to meet their new family. So, its pretty quiet.

Today, my family and I went back to Kuching. Before heading off, we had Wild Boar Soup for lunch. Around noon, Grandma and Grandpa came back from Kapit. Upon arriving Grandma told all of us about her adventure. She said there's no running water, no telephone line and of course no electricity available. They had to use generators to produce electricity at night. The weather was so hot during the day (no electricity = no fans) that she can feel like dying on the spot. The road to go to the village was horrible too. She continued by saying she don't wanna go there ever again XD
