New Environment

Today I was being "imported" to the clothes department. It happened in the morning while I was busy arranging toddler's sandals at the shoes department. The tauke came and told me to take my bag and go to the clothes department.

It was a whole new experience for me. The environment was totally different too. It was far more busier than the shoes department. I managed to talk to some colleagues and everyone seems to be friendly :)

Even though I make a lot of new friends today, I don't wanna be transferred permanently there. I want to go back to my original place. Hopefully my transfer is only temporary...

Shopping

Today is my off day :D

I woke up quite late. Had pork bun for breakfast and went straight to the computer ^^

In the afternoon, Daddy went to his regular badminton session while Mommy and I went to Stutong to shop. Mommy bought a lot of stuff.

In the evening when Daddy came back, we went to Boulevard for our monthly shopping. There was so many people. I thought of buying a toner and an exfoliator but couldn't find the type I wanted. I wanna buy a new hoodie too but like the skincare, I can't find anything I like.

Delighted

My leave day for tomorrow is finally approved ^^ Finally, I can have my good deserve rest :)

Oh yeah, I also received my uniform after work just now :)

Kaboom!

Today

The supervisor is odd XD I mean, there was a spot check before going home and she was the one who operated it. The weird part was the tauke(s) didn't even bother about with these things. They were busy chatting the night away not far from us. I feel like I'm back in school with this spot check thingy *hohoho~*

The supervisor is very fussy too. Luckily she only come by to our shop in the afternoon. If she's with us, everyone will go mad.

The food sucks. I didn't eat my lunch and dinner. I bought nasi lemak but I think it was already turn bad as it was already quite late. I had heartburn for the whole day.

Yesterday

The tauke came to the shop and call for me. He told me I can't take the 2 days leave for Chinese New Year T_T He said because I celebrate more than one celebrations, it would be unfair for the others if he approved those leaves. I'm quite disappointed about it. I was looking forward for the 5 days rest :/

I also asked him about my uniform. He said he gonna ask the people from the management department to give them to me but unfortunately, they never did :<

Money

*Sigh* I have a lot of things to buy in mind but I couldn't afford them :( Its like there are always new desires to fulfill everyday...

Anyway, today was as mundane as ever too but time did fly faster (which is good).

Mundane

Its a weekday and there were less people came to visit the store.

Everyone looked bored and sleepy. I managed to get a 2 minutes nap on a chair ^^

Woah?!

Yesterday my customers walked on me. Its a small matter and puh-lease, its just a sandal. One of the shop's best seller. The story goes like this - a new stock just arrived. I was just opening the plastic bags and pasting the price tag when a group of girls "attacked" me. They started to try the sandal one after another and I started to get pretty annoyed. I mean, can't they wait a few minutes? They're slowing me down and I'm trying to do my job here people!!! They were asking me for a discount and everything. I told them not to disturb the sandals. One of them heard me and pulled their friends away and went straight out of the shop. Whatever... its not like they're the only customers this shop has. The sandals will sale well even without them buying a pair and its not like I receive any commission if they did bought a pair. So, who cares...

Today, I met an annoying customer. He was very old (in my judgement) but his child is still a toddler. He was asking me a lot of questions with his saliva bursting out of his mouth. I felt disgusted and backed off a little. As he was about to ask me something (in my opinion, he was going to ask me to help to put the sandal on his son's foot). Fortunately, another customer called me asking for assistance. I turned and quickly left him XD

Exhausted

I seriously need a day off. I'm so tired right now. Working for seven days a week is killing me both physically and mentally.

I finally settled down and beginning to understand the whole job routine. Things does make sense when you accustomed to them.

I'm excited about my pay day :)

Aiyoo~

Its been 3 days of sadness... T_T I can't get through the internet. The line was okay but some unknown error occurred causing an interruption :/

Anyway, my 3 days ago was a bitter memory. I mean, I was "semi-scolded" by the tauke. He didn't actually scold me but told me something with a serious voice. The upsetting part was how he addressed me :(

Huaaa~ I'm so tired. I work everyday without applying for any leave which is now making me very exhausted. Well, its all for the money. Hence, I must hang on >:)

Today was normal. The tauke went out and my colleagues and I had the shop to ourselves. The casher turned the volume in high tune that the shop felt more like a club rather than a shop :P

Less Than Perfect

Something felt very wrong today. I mean, bad things were happening here and there. Has my luck just ran out?

There were 2 absentees today. One person is on leave and another one couldn't make it to work. The shop is under managed as two staffs were called over to another shop to cover up as they too, were in short of staffs. Hence, there were only the 3 of staffs (including me) left in the shop.

People tends to be secretive sometimes. I feel like I'm being bullied as I'm still a rookie.

I had trouble being in good terms with this particular tauke *sigh*

I dunno why but I have this feeling that something isn't quite right... .

Muahahaha~

Yesterday I was the latest person to arrive but today, I was the first >:D

Its almost pay day *hohoho~* I can't wait ^^

I met my former classmate. She told me most of the class got a job at The Spring. Lucky for them :/

I've been reserving a lot of shoes from the shop. Five in total. I guess this month's salary will be wasted on shoes ><

Sadness

I was late to work by 1 minute today T_T

I received a penalty T_T

My card was punched with red ink T_T

I'm so sad that I was moody for the whole morning T_T

I wonder if my employer will cut my salary... T_T

Meanwhile, in the afternoon after lunch, the tauke a.k.a Apek with no teeth asked me :

Apek : Moi, lu pandai cakap cina kah?

Me : Tidak.

Apek : Hah, lu bukan cina kah?!

Me : Saya cina.

Apek : Kenapa tidak pandai cakap cina?

Me : Sebab bapak saya tidak cakap cina dengan saya.

Apek : Lu kampung cakap apa?

Me : Saya orang bandar.

Apek : Mana?

Me : Muara Tabuan sana.

Apek : Lu sikit pun tidak pandai cakap?

Me : Tidak.

Apek : Dengar?

Me : Sikit-sikit.

Apek : *shake his head*

Me : *thinking* ...stupid Apek.

Maroon

The rashes turn from bad to worst. Some are turning maroon in colour O_O

I want a healthy work environment... *sigh*

Rashes

I developed a skin rash on my legs ><

It started right after I started working at that shop.

The rashes is super itchy and appear reddish in colour :(

Rain

Today was cold *brrr~*

Cold weather + air conditioner = wearing sweater all day during work :P

I finally get the hang of the recess turns too :) Thats great because now I don't have to worry about it too much anymore.

New stock of flip-flops arrived today and I'm busy. Well, not really though~ XD A colleague and I became the first person to try them on ^^ But truthfully, the flip-flops is not quite my cup of coffee.

Crocs

Its getting better. I hope it stays :)

The food still sucks though... . There were very few people came to the shop today.

I like it when people talk to me using different languages ^^ I mean, the customers spoke Mandarin and Iban with me.

Something struck me just now and its about Crocs. A customer call me and the converstation goes like this :

Customer : Excuse me, do you still have the Crocs slipper?

Me : Oh, its there (I didn't quite heard the "crocs" word and therefore thought it was the ordinary flip-flops).

Customer : No, I mean, the Crocs. Do you have it in different colour (other than pink and purple) ?

Me : Ohh~ the Crocs. Nope, the other colours have already sold out.

Custumer : My friend bought his here cheap and its the original version.

Me : Umm...but its said here it was made in China.

Customer : I know. It was made in China but its an original. Its the rejected item. I bought mine (the good one) somewhere else and I paid RM199.00 for it *pointing at his feet*.

Me : Hmm...we only have pink and purple left. The others have sold out.

Customer : Oh, never mind then. Thanks anyway.

I resumed to my work again but began wondering. If I can get a cheap original piece even though its a rejected item here, then, it would be a rare fine ^^ Gonna be more alert next time :D

Agony

Its that time of the month again and when you're standing all day, the pain is unbearable T_T

I'm still learning how to use the punch card thingy. I never used it before hence, I messed up my card today (no wonder the uncle gave me a weird look this afternoon XP).

I ate a waffle too. It doesn't taste very good but at least I'm full. The menu today was the worst. I dislike fried mackerel. I threw away most of my dinner. The veggies were the same as the past 6 days.

Another Day

I slowly began to shake some anxiety away. Hopefully I will get rid all of it soon enough.

Things aren't so bad as they seem. I learnt a lot of new things and met people from various walks of life. I also learnt some mandarin language ^^

I met a rude costumer. Well, there will be more to come anyway...

I'm very tired, sleepy and hungry after coming back from work. It took me about 4 days to adjust to my new schedule and started going online again. My Mafia Wars... T_T

I also drive very recklessly almost everyday and I know if I keep doing it, I'm putting Mr. Red's and my life in danger. Mr. Red have been grumpy lately too. Maybe he's trying to tell me to drive safe? :P

10th of January

I'm still hoping. Today was very busy as it is Saturday. I have no time to rest or at least sit down for a moment. My waist is killing me. The shop closed up very late.

The new stock of stiletto heels arrived today. There were 2 that was just simply gorgeous. I would love to have them but its not on my budget list yet XD

9th of January

I'm still worried about my recess turn. Its so difficult to follow as it was always changing and when your own group member didn't help to call you T_T Oh yeah, did I mention the food? It sucks big time. I ate the same food for 3 days!!! :/ There was a bamboo shoot dish that tasted and smelled exactly like urine *bleah*

Nervous breakdown moment. As I was pasting the price tag on the slippers at a corner alone, tears rolling down my cheeks. I felt like quitting. This job is hard. Some colleagues are so unfriendly, food sucks, I can't keep up with the recess timetable and everything felt hopeless T_T

I kept telling myself everything will be okay and hopefully it will...somehow, who knows? I just need to hang on a bit...

8th of January

I missed my recess turn T_T Nobody called me. How mean... *sob, sob* My eyes were practically watery at that time. I was worried. Luckily I wasn't alone *phew~* The tauke uncle told me and another colleague to join the last recess group.

The new stock arrived today. There were a lot of new style flip-flops and sandals. But in my opinion, it was hideous XD Anyway, it was senior citizen's fashion. The men's looked nice though.

7th of January

The recess timetable. I can't seem to get the hang of it. I mean, it changed daily and one must be alert about it because if you missed your turn, you'll go hungry for the rest of the day. I mean it the hard way :(

There were so many things to remember. I even have difficulty to memorise my colleague's names.

6th of January

My first day. I went right on time. The uncle a.k.a tauke asked me to fill my details in a form and the cashier wrote my name on my punch card ^^ The tauke then asked me if I want to work at the clothes or the shoes department. I said its up to him. He sent me to the shoes department. I introduced me to a guy named Ah Poh. The uncle said Ah Poh will tell me what to do next. So, welcome to me :)

I never stand or so long before. The longest was when I attended secondary school XD My job is to assist the customers and to rearrange sandals/flip-flops and bags there look messy.

The day was very tired. My waist and hips felt like breaking T_T

5th of January

The call interview never came up so I tried my luck at the shop. It was quite easy. No forms, no interviews, just a simple question of, "when would you like to start working?"

I went home pretty delighted as I was no longer an unemployed person by tomorrow :)

Disappointed & Scared

I went looking or a job yesterday. I filled up a form and the woman in cahrge said she gonna call me for the interview in the afternoon or the next day. I was hopeful. I waited for the call~ but there was never a single call from that shop until this morning. I'm a bit disappointed but that won't deter me :) I'm gonna try my luck at the next shop today. Wish me luck ^^

Yesterday was scary. It was the first time I saw him goes berserk. I mean, it was just a small misunderstanding. No biggie... Oh well, with alcohol, everyone goes cuckoo :/

Today

Mommy and I going back to Kuching. As soon as I arrived, I unpack my things and went straight to the laptop ^^

2nd of January

Everyone was indoor that day. In the evening, we (the teens, Mommy and my aunt) had our "meeting".

Today was also the first time I ate a nut called buah kop. It tasted just like jackfruit's nut.

At night there was an activity going on at kampung and we went to see. It was the Kampung's Youth Night or something like that. There's a lot of dangdut songs being played XP

1st of January

I didn't do anything. Just watching movies with my cousins while waiting for Mommy and my aunt from the orchard.

31st of December

Today Mommy and I gonna go to kampung with me driving (this is my first long distance driving so I'm quite excited and nervous ><).

Daddy woke up early and serviced Mr. Red. A couple hours later I woke up and we went to the gas station to fill Mr. Red's petrol.

After arriving home, Daddy went out with Uncle meanwhile, Mommy and I began to clean up and get ready for our journey.

On the way to kampung, we came across a rescue ambulance. A few miles later, we saw a guy lying on the road with his motorcycle badly damaged :S A real hospital ambulance finally showed up but I don't know whether its for the victim since I saw it further from the accident scene.

As I continue driving, an insolent Kancil cut Mr. Red. Luckily I was driving with 3rd gear at the roudabout. If I were in my usual forth gear speed, Mommy and I would wine up in an accident ourselves XC As the stupid Kancil passed us, a guy in the passenger sit show me the middle finger sign!!! >:O I showed him mine too, in reply >:(

Anyway, we do arrive at kampung in one piece so thats more important :)

We arrived around 11 a.m. so after lunch, I followed Mommy and my 2 cousins to Grandpa's orchard. The path going to the orchard was muddy, treacherous and super complicated. If I were to go there alone I would probably lost. It was a mix of jungle trekking and hiking ><

As soon as we arrived at the orchard, I soon realised I'm totally in a different world. I mean, the scenery was very scenic and beautiful. There were durian trees everywhere and there's a stream upfront ^^

By the way, Grandma was already there long before us :) On our way back later in the evening, I carry the tempoyak while Mommy, Grandma and my other cousin carry some durians.

At night, Uncle prepared a barbecue feast consist of chicken wings, pork and catfish :D
