MAndeta'11 :D

As you all know, I was one of the MAndeta committee, so I need to go to the venue a bit early than everyone else. I went to The Palace of The Golden Horses around 8 a.m.-ish by Mahsa College bus (UM bus was too expensive to rent). MAndeta committees were 75 people but the bus was only able to accommodate 45 souls, hence our college vans were used to carry the remaining numbers :P

Okay, back to the hotel... ahem, it was spectacular; looked really nice from the inside and out.
I loved it :D

I was supposed to be in the Registration bureau, but since Technical bureau is currently in short of staffs, therefore I got imported to their bureau. In Technical bureau, my job was to control the dimness of the chandeliers + lights. Being the newbie, I didn't really have any specific role (apart from the lighting), so I did a number of escapees to explore my surrounding tehee~ ^^ My partners in crime were two seniors and a colleague XD After a few exploration, I went back to the Ballroom and helped to tie balloons to the chairs :)

Before sunset, the Technical bureau told me they don't need me anymore, so I got exported back to my old bureau and "technically," I was free to do whatever I wished because all the jobs were either done or filled, so YIPPIE! :D

I wore a short white lacey cocktail dress for the dinner and the
rest is history hahaha... Oh yeah, did I mentioned I was the member who used the room in the hotel the longest for makeup? Muahahaha... Anyway, enjoy the photos guys. P/s: Some of them were courtesy of my friends and seniors ^^

Why Does It Turns Out Like This? :(

Hmm...I don't like the flow of this current situation. You people will regret your decision. From the way this person is, I know something bad will happen sooner or later. There goes my peaceful life next semester :S

Outing

Last Friday I went outing to Times Square with Sis :D Our mission was to find my dinner dress, contact lens and a few accessories. We went there around 10.30 a.m., after I finished my Ethnic Relation lecture. I seldom go to Times Square and whenever I did, I can't help but to always got myself almost lost in the crowd :P

Anyway, Sis and I went to this new eatery called umm...I don't remember? XD We ate vegetarian food and it was super delicious :) After lunch, its shopping time! ^^

Our luncheon :D

First, we searched for my dress. There were a lot of really nice dress in Times Square but unfortunately, they were not coincide with my dinner theme :/ but in the end, I did found this super cute dress ^^ After dress shopping, we went to this newly-open optical store and I bought my contacts. I never knew contacts would be super expensive :( Then, its accessories time. I bought this corset-like belt and I was done! :)
Next, its Sis turn. She bought belt, earrings and a couple of tops :)

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention there was a squash competition at Times Square and guess who did I saw? It was Nicole David!!! ^^

Nicole is the one wearing Pink top :)

Sis and I went back to our colleges around 4 p.m. and for this outing, I actually skipped my replacement lecture on Pronunciation Skills in English :3 Millions apologies to Mr. ****

Scarred

My documents got rejected due to some unfortunate circumstances and therefore, I had to redo them again. I went to see my lecturer to get my documents signed but unfortunately (...again), she wasn't in her office, so I went to see other lecturer instead, but bad things happened~ For your information, this lecturer didn't teach me. I just knocked her door because she was the only lecturer available at that time...

Me: Hi Dr, could you help me to sign my documents? *all smiling*
Lecturer: ...um, I can't sign your documents.
Me: But I need them urgently... *teary eyes*
Lecturer: I can't sign them because I don't know you.
Me: ...
Lecturer: Well, the thing is, I don't know who you are so I'm afraid I can't sign those documents. Do you get what I mean?
Me: Yes. Umm...I'm a first year.
Lecturer: ...and your name is?
Me: J**** F***** W***.
Lecturer: Sorry but I can't sign them.
Me: Oh...okay *turns around and make an exit*
Lecturer: Are they a lot? How many are they? What documents are those?
Me: Yeah; a couple, loan *exits*

Conclusion: why can't she just sign the damn thing?! Is it that important to know who I am? And another thing, her remarks will definitely scar me for life :S

Crisis

Yesterday I went to Mid Valley to buy my toiletries and some food and guess what? I spent RM110! Not to mention I had to give another RM20 in the morning as my group's capital for the upcoming Entrepreneurship Day :(

I am seriously in a financial crisis...

Choir Competition

I represented my college for the choir competition in the Arts Festival best known as FESENI at Tunku Chancellor Hall yesterday. Each choir team should wear the same uniform but unfortunately, my college refused to give us any budget and therefore, we decided to wear our traditional outfit instead. We did get any place in the competition too. Probably because our attire lacked in uniformity and other colleges did a better job than us but anyway, it was a nice experience ^^
